Who am I ?

Hello, I'm Autum. Welcome to my portfolio!

I'm a Graphic Designer and Marketer. I got my B.A. in Graphic Design and emphasis in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I enjoy logo design the most with illustration close behind. I also specialize in layout design and marketing materials.

My design style is clever creative x minimalistic. I like to make the viewer focus on the design a bit longer to see subtle details, symbols and understand the underlying message. That way they can experience it themselves, similar to how you would view a painting at a museum. 

I have been creating, drawing, painting and writing ever since I was big enough to hold a pencil. I didn't have any siblings, so entertaining and solving problems myself became a much needed skill.

In highschool, my art teacher challenged me to use a medium I hadn't much experience with, watercolor. I quickly found a love for it. How beautiful the paint moved across the page and the effect it had after drying, made me determind on getting my own watercolor materials for at home projects. My senior year of highschool, I also took yearbook class, which ended up being my first official introduction to graphic design using adobe software. On the right are images of one of my favorite watercolor projects I did in the beginning of my college career. 

Today, I do freelance work and love to make my client's ideas come to life!
